Upload guide: what photo works best

Start with a close front-facing photo with your face large in the frame, eyes lowered and lips parted.

• Mouth: Keep your lips parted and uncovered, with nothing in front of your mouth.
• Eyes and gaze: Keep your eyes lowered, lashes down, with no sunglasses and no hair across your eyes.
• Framing: Take the photo close in and from slightly above, the way this template frames its first-person view, with your face large in the centre of the frame.
• Just you: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and quality: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Do not use: distant full-body shots, eyes wide open at the camera, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
